Senior Vice President, Business Development

This is a remote position, based in the US. The SVP of Business Development is a leadership role responsible for leading a regional team of business developers while also being an important contributor of revenue generation for Op4G.

 

Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Coach and develop a highly performing sales team, leading by example and upholding the core values of integrity, collaboration, quality, and responsibility.
  • Drive accountability within your team by developing, implementing, and monitoring metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Partner with SVP of Ops to assess operational challenges and ensure collaboration with service teams to execute on strategy that puts the customer first and inspires loyalty and retention.
  • Create alignment and cultivate connection between all revenue-relevant teams (Ops, Marketing, Supply, etc.).

Revenue Contribution:

  • Build new pipeline of promising direct clients across core industry verticals.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by prioritizing activities and leveraging resources.
  • Qualify prospective clients, identify opportunities and continuously manage sales pipeline.
  • Leverage partner solutions and identify best offering for client & Op4G.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to ensure client renewals and new opportunities.
  • Manage the sales cycle from first inquiry to close to final delivery.
  • Produce strategic territory and account plans to build business and deliver against goal.
  • Leverage Salesforce to maintain accurate, disciplined tracking of sales pipeline.
  • Be a trusted advisor to clients.

Sales & Strategy:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of an Op4G playbook with long term customer retention and partnership top of mind and ensure the playbook is adopted within your regional team.
  • Drive team sales performance by identifying growth and outreach strategies for current and future clients.
  • Monitor sales performance and success of strategies across revenue cycle, from prospect to acquisition to engagement and delivery by development of appropriate OKRs.
  • Analyze team performance and effectiveness of strategies, against appropriate benchmarks and behavioral metrics.
  • Contribute to the development of pricing guidelines that lead to overall profitability, support sales and revenue generation and meet business targets.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field
  • 10+ years progressive leadership experience in sales or RevOps role
  • Previous P&L responsibility preferred.
  • High levels of logical thinking & problem-solving skills with the ability to work innovatively to deliver both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Strong commercial awareness and desire to help the business deliver on its financial objectives.
  • A passion for research, excellent communication skills and experience working in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • A desire to further build the profile of our team by presenting at industry conferences and seminars / events, and other activities.

 

Salary Range: 125k – $150k (fixed) plus variable sales incentive plan. Salary will be based on experience, skills, knowledge, education, location. We also offer a comprehensive and competitive benefit package.
